WELCOME TO HOLLAND (NOT ITALY!)

Welcome to Free State Autism

Our Vision
  • We will make the public aware that Autism is not a death sentence.
  • We will provide the best one-on-one teaching to Autistic children to help them reach their full potential as adults.
  • We will ensure that government hears the plea of the Autistic child in the South African society and commit to providing adequate schooling facilities throughout the country.
  • We will ensure that Autistic children will be afforded the opportunity to put their unique skills to good use in the South African society. The world would have been a poorer place without the Autistics in our history.
  • We will do our utmost to contribute to research into Autism Spectrum Disorder to help us to better understand the disease and to obtain ways to ensure a better adult life prognosis for all Autistics.
  • We will build the best early-intervention facility for Autistic Children in South Africa.
Our Mission
To operate as a non-profit organization with the following goals:
  • offering moral support to parents of children on the Autism Spectrum,
  • teaching parents how to manage the behaviour of Autistic children,
  • creating public awareness of Autism in the Free State and South Africa,
  • offering educational support and educational services to Autistic children,
  • contribute to research into Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • running fundraisers and obtaining  funds from donators to ensure that we are able to build a state-of-the-art early-intervention centre in Bloemfontein.
  • working with other Autism related organisations throughout South Africa to increase the financial assistance provided by Government to parents of Autistic Children in the form of grants for tutoring to achieve early intervention which will alleviate the financial burden on Government and parents alike in the future life of Autistic children in Bloemfontein and/or other locations in the Free State Province.
